Delaware's Inaugural Tuskegee Airmen Commemoration Day Expo

Join us on Thursday, March 28th for a day of celebration and inspiration as we honor the legacy of the heroic Tuskegee Airmen and showcase exciting aerospace careers to local youth.

The Tuskegee Airmen Commemoration Day Expo, organized by Black Women in Aviation & Legacy Flight Academy, will take place at Dover Air Force Base. The event will feature remarks from government and military officials, hands-on activities, and college and career mentorship for over 100 high school students. Delaware State University, known for its leading collegiate aviation program, will be among the featured partners at the expo.

Delaware’s Inaugural Tuskegee Airmen Commemoration Day Expo is presented by Black Women in Aviation (BWIA) and Legacy Flight Academy (LFA). 

BWIA (www.BlackWomenInAviation.com) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the encouragement and advancement of black women in all aviation and aerospace career fields.
LFA (www.LegacyFlightAcademy.org) is a nonprofit organization that conducts character-based youth aviation programs that draw upon the LEGACY of the Tuskegee Airmen.
